I like them. I wish the models with the built in circulation pump allowed you to control when and how often the pump comes on. In a large system with a long recirculation loop that cools at various rates the pump on the navien can screw you up.

Or good pirate jokes, depending on your sense of humor.

12. Have you heard about the new pirate movie?
It's rated AARRRRRR! Why? Because of all the booty!

11. Why does it take pirates so long to learn the alphabet?
Because they can spend years at C

10. A pirate walks into a bar wearing a paper towel on his head. He sits down at the bar and orders some dirty rum.

The bartender asks, "Why are you wearing a paper towel?"

"Arrrrr..." says the pirate. "I've got a bounty on me head!"

9. How did the pirate stop smoking?
He used the patch

8, What's a horny pirate's worst nightmare?
A sunken chest with no booty

7. A little boy with a speech impediment dresses up as a pirate for Halloween.

At the first house a woman opens the door, and the boy says, "I'm a birate. This is my barrot. Can I have some bandy?"

The woman looks at him and says, "My, aren't you cute. But where are your buccaneers?"

The boy gets angry: "On the side of my buckin head, you buckin idiot."

6. What was the pirate's name who had no legs or arms and fell overboard?
Captain Bob

5. What does a Dyslexic Pirate Say?
RRAAAAAAAAAAA!

4. Knock knock.
Who's there?
Interrupting pirate.
Interrup--
ARRRRRRR!

3. Where did the one legged pirate go for breakfast?
IHOP

2. Why are pirates called pirates?
They just aRRRRRRRR

1. A pirate enters the men's room, steps up to a urinal, opens his fly and out pops a steering wheel. The guys at the other urinals can't help but notice.

"Whoa," one says. "You have a steering wheel instead of a penis?!"

"Aye," says the pirate. "It's drivin' me nuts!"

Post subject: getting ready to sell out
Posted: Thu Sep 24, 2015 10:19 pm

I am going to let the account put a price tag on it ...

But that's not the issue .. really I love interacting with people .. I like to solve their problems and the bigger the problem the better .. that's how I learn ..

But when I do sell out I am still going to be interested in interacting with people .. what that boils down to is agreements .. not sales ..
I didn't sell you a dam thing .. we agreed that I am the guy to solve the problem .. this is what I do .. I got solutions .. and many .. there is tons of ways to get to the same end result .. some expensive and some cheap .. it's the guy that knows how to a get something done the least expensive way ..

This is why we are busy ... we get results ..

But this is not the point .. after I retire I will be back and forward .. and If any of you need a hand to get to the next level .. I am willing to fly In and get you to that point ..

Not ringing ant thing .. just saying I have been there .. dealt with ever character possible .. and know what needs to be done ..

By the way this offer is from a year from now .. wrapping this all up .. and going to be stress free

Post subject: New to me Excavator
Posted: Mon Sep 28, 2015 10:41 pm

Well I finally got me one. IHI (Yanmar) 15nx which I got from a long time friend that owns the equipment rental place I rent these from. I know this machine very well and have used it countless times. He assured me the motor and hydraulicxs are sound. He is an expert repairman on them and knows all the glitches and how to fix them. And is a IHI sales rep so can get all parts. Paid a bit more than I liked but considering the sourse and my experience I know it's a sound machine. All new filters, etc, new tracks, has tight buschings.

Most of the wifi stuff is annoying to me like changing the wh temp. Just not practical. This one may be a little more valid.

I can see the benefit of setting up the thermostat on a timer, other than that seems like it will cause more issues than it solves. What would be nice is a pressure gauge that connected to wifi to monitor for thermal expansion or a failed PRV.

Sure, it's nice if you can set the heater up with a timer feature, but you don't need wifi for that. That should be built into the board for the thermostat. Now the Wi-Fi enabled monitoring of critical things such as pressure, I'm all for that!

Posted: Fri Oct 16, 2015 12:37 am

I made a huge bozo no no today. I cut a 1/2" gas feeder to a meter today. 43 lb's on it. I was so fricking pinned in by phone and fiber optics and gas lines. Had the fire dept, and gas conpany engineer and construction crew there. Not sure what this will cost me,,, we will see. I avoided thier backhoe charge since I done the digging for them.
But Damn, some of the utility situations they give us are almost impossible.

Well I feel better, lol. jk but this was marked and I knew it was there but it swerved into a radius which the locates did not reveal but was within 18". My first time to hit a gas line so hopefully they will go easy.

I'm rootin for the Royals. I just can't bring myself to root for New York, regardless of friends that live there. I'm sorry, Ted, if that's your team. I think DrainPro is a fan. I'm glad the Mets made it but I gotta go for the Royals.

It moves so slow it would drive me crazy, plus getting it in and out of yards would be rough so I'd pass but that's me.
The particular unit posted has a maximum depth of 7ft. which means you could realistically only dig about 5 ft. That 7 ft. is with it dangling straight down, not the swath of the trench. I had a heck of a time getting the rental guys to understand the difference but now they get it.

My Supply House loaned me one for a few days.

It works fine with hole-saws up to 6", but bogs down with self-feed bits over 2-1/8".

I found it to be gutless and not worth the expense.

I'll buy one if they ever offer it in the 28V tool line, but not until then.

Thanks everyone .. but it wasn't a happy birthday

Are they ever once you hit the 60+ milestone?

Yes, they can be good. I have been enjoying mine. I particularly enjoyed my 65th when I got on Medicare & started getting that cheap insurance and my 66th when I started getting my monthly stipend from the government ! I had never gotten a dime from any type government program before that and I was amazed that: A) I actually survived this world long enough to collect. and B) That there was anything left in the coffers for me to actually start collecting. Now I get paid to sit on my backside & do nothing if the mood warrants that. I even get paid to go hunting and fishing.

According to a late friend of mine, only drawback to this job is that we never get a day off from it and no vacations from it. We are retired and that is it. It is a tough life. :whistle

Looks good, nice job. Is that a ball valve after the EXP tank though? Here there can't be a valve between the tank and heater.

That's a silly rule.

Nice joints BTW.
