So I bought a new trailer with 14ft. box jan.20th. On Tuesday I got T boned. Not happy about it as I figure no matter what the offenders (82 yo woman) insurance will give me a song and dance on how it's used, blah blah blah will only allow X amount. So I'm screwed.
The pics don't do justice but the skin reflects a bent frame. FWIW,,,,I hadn't even gotten the signage on it yet.

I had bought this trailer to house my added jetter rig. It has a 14ft. box where as the older unit was a 10ft.
Hoping and thinking it will be considered totaled.

Dang, that sucks!

Looks like she hit you straight on into the axles/tires? That would bend a frame real quick.

Not a lot of bright sides to it. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Nobody was hurt thankfully.

As you notice on the roof image it even buckled the roof metal. The place I bought it from is getting quotes for the entire front section, down the driver side frame and skin, front axle. Pretty much means it's totaled in my opinion.

Yah, it will be hard to properly repair it for sure!

Seems like trailer roofs are leakers after any repair!

Hopefully they take care of you on it!

Sounds like a new one would be cheaper than trying to repair ..

If they do repair it .. sell it as soon as possible ..and get a new one

In Indiana it's not a real known law but you can demand the insurance co find you a comparable vehicle rather than a monetary settlement. I have used that before when the blue book was far below vehicle value for my daughters first truck because it was a diesel with low miles.

The place I bought it from is getting quotes from manufacturer for all components knowing that parts and labor will meet or exceed new value. He told his trailer man to work me up a "good" quote for a replacement. If up to him I will get a new trailer.

Phish she glanced off my truck bumper then squared onto the drivers front corner of the trailer. Hit it hard then glanced down the side hitting the fender wells. Weird thing is the metal on roof is buckled as well as drivers side of trailer. So same difference, the frame is screwed. Pictured don't do justice to the damage.
I won't send her cars pics but it wiped her entire front end off, lol.

Same here ... My brother razor got stolen . ... The insurance wanted to give him a cash payment for what they though was the valve ...

I told him to tell them he doesn't want cash ..either had wanted his razor back or equivalent ...
He eventually found several razors around the same year and mileage and made the insurance company to pick one so he could buy it ...

It worked .. They got him what he wanted

Yeah, saw that when I looked at the pictures a little closer. She must have been moving along pretty good.
