Been working on shingling my shop roof the past couple of weekends. One more really good push should see it done.

In case anyone is wondering, it is really hot here in Florida.

As plumbers here do all metal roofing, I spent many summers on on fire.....
One in particular was a slate grey colour, we had to keep our hand tools in a bucket of water just to be able to handle them.

If you are a REALLY good customer, and I REALLY like you, I will use some of the sheet lead I have to repair your vent boots where the psycho squirrels have chewed the top off.

But for the most part, call a roofer.

It's kind of like tightening a connection on an old water heater....you touch it, and it's forever yours when it leaks.

If you are a really good customer with a single story low pitch roof. Then I’ll smear some goo on the leak and give you the number to the roofer I recommend.
